As Congress members hold town hall meetings to meet with their constituents to discuss topics such as health care, what do residents get from U.S. Rep. Gary Ackerman (D-Bayside)?

They get a postcard in the mail printed at taxpayer expense that will allow them to interact with Ackerman via the Internet. In other words, he is afraid to meet with his constituents. As he did a few years ago, Ackerman has chosen to hide under the table.

It is time someone who honors the U.S. Constitution run and defeat Ackerman, who is not worthy of his office. It is not about Democrat or Republican, left or right. These are paradigms created to continually confuse the electorate.

It is about those who love this country and the Constitution and those who do not.
