Kid masks are no Halloween treats

Local teens from Starting Artists, a non-profit benefiting underserved Brooklyn teens through hands-on training in the arts and entrepreneurship, started an “Airborne Contaminants Masks” project at their local, artspace, 211 Smith Street in the Cobble Hill section of Brooklyn, in response to their feelings about living near the polluted waters and banks of the toxic Gowanus Canal.
